Not quite...Mavic's are great, as long as they don't go wrong! I actually think because of the spokes, they might be the best looking...the Crank B Iodine are also very nice but apparently a pile of shiiite!
Now, I've see this on you tube...looks awesome!

All rides at Degla are great.. I just didn't fancy the wind and getting soaked! Sounds like you missed it though which is great.. Hopefully get there again soon? I'll show you my ENVE's Yeah, I was also waiting for the worst tbh, but we were all surprised how good the weather was! We were very lucky! I had a great time and we were lucky again for being able to do some new sections! I prefer not to see the Enve's...if you know what I mean!? I'm looking forward to see the carbon Mavic's when they come out...if they are as good as I imagine and considerably cheaper...

I always like bikes that are not common and you don't see very often! That gear combo will not be easy on the climbs!?lol...Assume is 11-36 cassette of course.

At least you could have got a better angle on the mudguard?! LOL...no wet bum tho?!?! Did you notice the cables at least?!?! The guy from Rockguardz offered me the option of buying their front carbon one for a better RRP...dont know what to do but i am tempted...i just bought that Mucky Nutz...anyone fancies one half price?
Forgot to say...actually the funniest moment was my mate Mick...complaining all the time about wearing an helmet...we get to the cafe...he takes the helmet on to go to the van and says..."i already feel faster without the helmet..." only to somehow twisting his front wheel in the car park in front of a few people, flying over the handlebars, ripping his jacket and get covered in mud...LOL...now that was funny!? that old saying..."pride comes before a fall"!?...literally!
How much is this parking at Winlatter?
I never tend to do trail centres...this is the second i ever done...Sherwood Pines (which is really boring even with all the off-piste bits) and today...i guess living 3 minutes away from the woods and so close to Ladybower has its downside...i think both natural stuff and trail centres (if they are like this one) are different but equally great.

Is anyone interested in a hardly used Topeak mudguard!? Quick release...the lot!? Lol Gaz said Winlatter is also very good and similar...

LLOLOOLOLLOLOLOOLLO
I am ashamed I have to admit! It is proper horrible that mudguard! I apologise! But it was supposed to be really raining and really windy! The weather was fine really! I'm so glad we went today!
BUT HOW DO YOU KNOW?!?
Went to Rockguardz who will send me the frame protector...and offered me one of their sexy front mudguards for much considerably cheaper than RRP if I want!? Decisions...
Is there a better trail centre than Llandegla? Because I think this one is awesome...but I don't tend to ride trail centres!?
Funniest part (well, not so much fun but you know what I mean) was a guy on a brand spanking new Porsche Macan (I believe) with two Santa Cruz on the back, reversing straight onto the side of a parked BMW...!? In front of everyone... No clue...

For today's ride at Llandegla for example, SPD's are great I think! However I'm also getting some pain on my right knee and I also hear that flats are better on your knees...which makes sense! Also hear that the Shimano SPD's are actually not great because they don't give you much float on your knees/ankles/feet!
Third proper ride on the Hex...starting to get acostumed to her...and I'm very very happy with the bike! Happy I changed the volume spacer on the shock the other day since I've noticed now while washing the bike that I used almost all the travel, minus 3mm really! Did my first tabletop ever (and a couple after that) today and the feeling is amazing!

But those walls are so white ...seems a pity to cover them in mud when cleaning... That looks the mutts nuts...great value Now that would get me into trouble with the missus! Again, awesome stand! Made in Germany...bargain!

Gorge pedals, but after 3 rides they'd be scuffed and scratched to feck - what's the point? unless it's a display bike...just get summat that works for you without spending silly money? It looks like most good pedals will set anyone off between 70-90 quid...if you go Ti spindles/axles it goes up towards 140-160. The Superstar now with 20% off are much more pleasant on the wallet. However those Vaults Mag Ti are 160 but he would sell them for 100. I'm going to leave it a bit to decide what to do...certainly until next payday. Then there is also shoes of course. I've been reading a bit on this and specially enduro-mtb.com/en/flat-pedal-group-test/DMR wins the group test but the Burgtec's are a really nice classy and simple design...and from what i read bomb proof.

Something in me just wants to blast from top to bottom on Llanberis though Nowt technical, just balls out speed and the odd hop and jump! 3h 20m from Sheffield...a bit far!? But i like the thought of that ^^^

Properly tested the Lidl stand today...just wish I had bought it ages ago...it is great to do maintenance and get a different perspective on the bike and notice things you usually don't... ...and I've finally sorted out my cables...I'm happy now! It is true, no matter how good a bike mechanic is, he or she will never care as much as you about your bike...the cables were changed twice and they were still not great!

However...that gold cassette!? We like a bit of chavvy gold...It does make me a bit wet if I'm honest! LOL I bet the guys from Hope, Uberbike and the likes are thinking...shit, we will now have to do a new jockey wheel, etc, etc...just to keep up! It is a bit stupid, but I can see the point if I was to run a 36 oval at the front for example! However, it's SRAM and we all know that's just wrong!?...LOL
POP....(the sound of a can of worms!?)

...but actually...thinking about it...it might be a good idea if you run it with a 34 or 36 at the front!? Just not sure chains are long enough! One of the things I miss from the 2x10 are the heavier gears... However it does look stupid!
