I've noticed movement in the reverb post if i pull the saddle up, it can be pulled up by about half an inch now. I've also noticed that i need to push the button harder to operate the post. I was hoping it's just air and needs a bleed. Has anyone else had these problems? Other than this it's been great.

Could just need a bleed Kalli - but mine had those symptoms shortly before failing altogether, is it still under warranty?
I've now got a KS LEV. A Reverb will never darken my bike doorstep again.

Should be 250'psi , they will always have a tad of movement on the post .

It is still under warranty, but i think i'll get my hubby to try bleeding it first. Think i've built up enough bike cleaning credits to get him to have a look, after he's finished tatting about with the cranks on his dmr first

In case you haven't got one - I've got an unused reverb bleed kit I was about to put up for sale, now it is no longer needed.

My reverb came with a bleed kit fortunately, so he has no excuse to try and fix it. I just hope thats the problem

It's obviously luck mate - and I've only got one sort of that. Whoever it was that my post went to within Rockshox and tried to tell me I had bent it, well done, I'll never buy off your shitty company again. I still don't blame Rose Germany who upgraded me to a LEV straight away, no questions. I do blame though the Rose UK manager who sided with Rockshox originally. Once bitten, twice shy - you can shove your reverb up yer motherfeckin 'arris

I hope your Lev is a bit more reliable than mines and all the other ones that had failed cartridges and had to be sent back under warranty

Had a go at bleeding the reverb last night (well, I made the coffee) and i must say it has reduced the movement significantly. I will take it out for a test run tonight so fingers crossed. There is still a few mm of movement so it may need to be done again soon.

my boss has a lev and it failed after six weeks, so dont speek to soon ,the best one i have had for reliability is my hilo by xfusion and cheeper than a reverb I've done my research and the conclusion is....the only dropper that came out as near 100% reliable is the Thomson elite. I can show you any amount of threads where people are moaning about the reliability of a certain brand of dropper post - including all of the above. I can also show you posts where people have had no trouble with any of the above and swear by a particular brand. As I didn't have the option of the Thomson I just went with something 'not Reverb' as I am done with dealing with those arseholes. My conclusion is?...it's just luck, the dropper, by definition, is hit and miss. It is unreliable technology. I went for the LEV because I decided I would just have to see for myself. Euan I believe the cartridge issue is sorted now - when did you have yours? All I can do now is see how we get on together, I'm just out now for my first proper ride on it. Time will tell. I might be being pig headed about this but none of you had the absolute bollocks and lies spouted at them by the Rockshox people that I have, who basically just tried to fob me off so they wouldn't have to replace the post. I am doing the only thing I can and that is refusing to use their dropper post.

Yes, I was going to mention that but I'd bored on enough as it was. The forks I love and the shock has been great (even though the first one failed). I did say that it was the dropper I wouldn't use plus l cant afford to replace them. When they get too old they will be replaced by something not of rockshox born. I'm looking at turning the Merida back into a HT and have been looking at X Fusion forks for it. This is serious
