It's been a while since I started this thread and I've done lots of reading of reviews and stuff, as I wasn't sure that I was doing the right thing getting an orange but last week I put my order down on a orange five pro with rs finishing kit a dropper seat post can't wait although it may not technically be the best bike for the money I think it's going to give the most enjoyable riding experience and is strong and reliable honestly can't wait. Orange warranty cant be beaten, and for £200. You can have a respray, decal change, and bearing service....new bike every year... theyre ugly and old fashioned.. but they work very well. .

Lovely what colour? When do you get it? I went for mountain mint in the end, I think picking the colour was the hardest part lol, unfortunately they didn't have a large in mint so I've got to wait another week till one gets sprayed up, but then it's almost like it was made just for me so don't really mind

[/quote] That is really good value I know they would do a full respray for £100 but bearing change for an extra £100 buy the people that built it !! You can't get much better than that, another reason why I'm happy I chose orange

£150 for a HT frame, £200 for a FS frame.. its the reason many go for orange!!... consistent reliability..

Good choice! low maintenance, bombproof build quality, great ride, plus Guy Martin rides one. love my 5 pro and never plan on changing it (actually I can never change it or the wife will kill me as it was a wedding present!) coming up two year old and im just deciding on which colour to go for when I send it off for re spray. Not that it needs it mind as the paint is still fresh its just the closest i'll come to getting a new bike lol!!

Mine was white. ... but sent it away for basic Warrenty work and 9 weeks later iv still not got it back.. and they are respraying the frame a different colour because they don't do white any more. ... ( giving me a new rear triangle but as they don't do white it won't match the bike so respraying frame to match)
Pulling my hair out not riding in over two months

That opportunity to get a "new" bike for 200 quid is excellent...depending on how many bearings you have, at around 8quid a pop, that is great value (if they also replace them with that price?!) Cotic should also offer that. Sarky, when is your HT arriving?

Yeah, its pretty good.. better in my opinion than my crush... doesnt feel as whippy as my Cotics, probably because of the wheelsize. Needs a new rear tyre to liven it up. Has a tacky highroller on the back.

The internal cable route ?? I think it looks burley and solid personally I don't have an issue with it. Looks better than some of the fagotty multi link rear ends out there they look so pathetic and fragile
