I've just pulled the trigger on the Super 2.0 though, think what swayed me was the fact you can convert it to full face - which if I'm going to be playing on Stile Cop dark side this summer is a very good idea. Have to buy it separate but it's a good option to have. Hargroves cyles - 55 quid (5 quid off with the 5off code) and free delivery - good price? Infrared medium Bell Super 2.0Can you put the full face add on to that one me thought it was the super 2 R that had the add on |

Helmet arrived - very impressed with it - 2 things though - the icedot emergency alert it comes with (free for a year) is an extremely cool feature - all you do is register your pin on the lid and if you are hurt and someone finds you - instant alert. Also...it really, really ain't 'infrared'...the box is a lovely shade of dark scarlet, I thought, 'ooh, this'll be a nice colour'...except it ain't - it's most definitely a salmon pink/fuscia at best, that's never been a fecking red Oh well, I do ride with Mr beans a lot so I suppose it fits in well there! Off out for a ride to see how it feels once out there. |

Need some help on a helmet myself. Had an off today, head first into a tree, my Troy Lee A1 has a lovely dent, so time for a new one. What would people suggest? I'm looking at the POC Trabec, but I'm unsure on sizing? I wear a L A1.

Got a Trabec mate - very comfy helmet but also very warm in summer, I'm a medium in the Bell 2.0, Med/large in the POC. Got to say I prefer the Bell over the POC, anyday. You might need the Large/XL in the POC then.

They only do a XL/XXL in the POC. I'll keep looking, I would have gone with Bell, but all their helmets seem to give me a mushroom head.

Best to try one on by the sound of it then Seb, funny isn't it - the POC proper made me look like Super Mario, yet the Bell doesn't.

Also - have you tried the Bell on? you might be surprised - it sits really low and wraps the bonce much more than my POC? s'pose it may just be down to different head shapes though. |
