No, not Villa fans.
Like the utter and complete tool I am I have managed to leave my Giro Hex trailside...or in a pub...or somewhere anyway. Now this was my 'go to' summer lid, light and well vented. I could just replace it but I fancy a change. As I am obviously a Bell end for losing a lid, I fancy the Bell's. The Stoker can be had for a good price and sound a good summer helm according to reviews, the Bell Super 2.0 has more features is more expensive and is heavier - but I lyk the look of em (and you can add a chin guard for uplift days)
Also - can I live with a lid with a name that sounds like Bell Stroker?
Anyone got either? thoughts? fitment? (are the sizes accurate?)
Ta.

How'd you manage to misplace your lid?
Can't offer any advice on the Bells but I like my Fox Flux.

Because I'm an old chunt? Basically - I've got into the habit of removing my lid after a sweaty ride for the ride home - thinking I don't need it and it's nice to let me bonce cool down - there's a snazzy helmet holder on the Raptor which makes it easy, so I'm guessing I was sat on a bench at Birches having a post ride latte/I was sat on a bench at Spoons having a post ride ale and I probably left the lid on said bench and chucked my bag on and rode away thinking I'd attached it. Oh well - good excuse for a new helmet. Tried on a Flux and I looked like a shit alien off a really bad sci-fi filum, I have a very strange shaped head so anything with fins/sticky out bits make me look like that.

I've got the Super2 with mips the medium fits well. I have always had medium helmets both motorbike and mtb. I didn't realise you could fit the chin guard to it though.

I've got a Poc Trabec - cracking helmet but I tend to use it as my night ride lid - gets very warm in summer, I found.

Oh tits - nice link mate, thanks. I've just pulled the trigger on the Super 2.0 though, think what swayed me was the fact you can convert it to full face - which if I'm going to be playing on Stile Cop dark side this summer is a very good idea. Have to buy it separate but it's a good option to have. Hargroves cyles - 55 quid (5 quid off with the 5off code) and free delivery - good price? Infrared medium Bell Super 2.0

Looks a nice lid. I much prefer these that sort of wrap around the back of the head to the things that just sit on top.

I'll still look like a shit alien but at least once I buy the chin guard I'll keep my boyish good looks intact

The Metah looks quite funky - if not a little bulky. Do like it though but for £100 I'll wait a while.
That Bell looks a great deal though Pez.
