That looks very nice Glynn! Looks like a great choice and loads of nice colours! Went in my first ride today on the new lid...it was great!

The Trabec is still the most comfortable lid I've ever worn, but feck, do they get warm in the summer. But that issue is solved on the Tectal...which has a lot more vents since its like their road helmet! Jus looks very odd on me. But I would have to say, I think it's the best lid out there! Shows on the price (not even including MIPS!?) I love the look of the Tectral - just too pricey for me.

The Cratoni Alltrack is in fact, like the Bell Super 2, quite a nice-looking helmet...if that exists!? The addition of the GoPro/light mount is also nice. Even my friend Mick who is anti-helmets is considering buying one now?!LOL Tectal on Amazon can be bought at 120...a bit better than the usual 150+ btw

yes, my old helmet was a feature. The seven is my current helmet and is way ahead in terms of comfort. It has a full length pad across the forehead so I don't get the pressure mark I got from the Giro.

I was seriously considering the 7idp myself - same price as the Bell 2.0 but in the end, I wanted the double up as a full face feature.

That 7 looks like a real nice lid for the money ...but as the only colour I would consider would be the black ..who's idea was it to give it a white strap ? It's going to get mank very quickly

I'm happy for you Glynn...so the lights are a go-er then!? Do they look better than your older ones? Are they powerful enough to use only one or do you need two of them? Will try to stop at Aldi this weekend and grab one!

definately a go-er as long as they work. they're basically the same as the ones i have but my cheapo chinese one doesnt indicate a low battery any more, so have been thinking of replacing it for a while.it'll do as a spare. i always prefer to use 2 lights (both 1200 lm). one on the bar and one on my helmet to point where my head turns. with a 3 year warrenty and only down the road from me it was worth exchange rather than refund, but c&b seen lights are also worth checking out.

Yes, that's how I like my cheapo chinky lights - bonce and bar. On the Bell - the chin bar has arrived - bloody good bit of kit and surprisingly comfy (you can take out pads on the cheek piece for better fit.) I won't use it often as I'm a bimbler not a trail hero but good to know it's there if I'm dragged back to BPW etc or more especially for the Dark Side cheekies at Stile cop - which scare the poo out of me

I wanted the titanium and red but couldn't get it for under 60 quid (that's all I'll pay for a lid). As it happens, by buying the chin bar seperate I've effectively got the 2R for just under a 100 quid!

Ive been looking for a spare in a different colour without the front chin guard as i can then just use same chin guard i already have and cant find my size below £60
