Ian Bell , The Don Jaconelli and myself started a ride from the Dales Centre a couple of years back and were accompanied by Stu ( the owner ) ..whose riding skills / fitness was on a completely different level to ours ..but can vouch for the fact that the terrain is tough with a capital T. Some of the descents in the spoil heaps ..you need Danny Mc. skills for ...which we didn't have ! The centre itself is great ..looks like it could be a fantastic weekend ..but not for me !

I'm going to do it.just can't see the price but ill do it anyway. It's a tad expensive at £60 including camping but I'm treating it as a Friday - Monday lads weekend away with bikes, although out of the 5 of us that wanted it, one might be in morzine, one has his lads bday and the other hasn't let me know yet so it might just be two of us in a gay trip Would be good if we could get a few off here camping together

Sounds like it will be a good weekend and not to far to travel for me, less than an hour,

Does the price include camping on the Sunday night ? £60 .. Doesn't seem too bad with camping 2brekkies & 2bbqs ..plus race fee...any restrictions on tent size at this type of event ?
Edit : sorry was writing this at the se time as Matt had posted

Fuck it, I'll be entering. 8 months should be enough time for me to not suffer a heart attack at every climb.
EDIT: Just checked Google maps, 5.5hr drive from me. Good grief!

I'm entering! Fancy the All mountain challenge though. 35km of non stop lung busting fun.
i wonder if all riders set of the same time or there is intervals between riders like the staged timed event?
