Fuck it, I'll be entering. 8 months should be enough time for me to not suffer a heart attack at every climb. EDIT: Just checked Google maps, 5.5hr drive from me. Good grief! easy drive up Friday lunch, beers Friday night, practice sat lunch, chill Saturday night, race sunday, get smashed sunday night, chilled drive back monday That's my plan too  |

It does look good an dim very tempted, unsure between the two options full timed ride or the Enduro with timed stages. My main concern is where you store your bike whilst sleeping in a tent that and having no friends who would be up for it from my neck of the woods.

Is anybody signing up to the event, entries open on the 12th, I'm really keen but it would be ice to meet up there with some folks off here.
ive no illusions of actually competing as such it just looks like a nice relaxed event and fun place to ride.

The way I view it once it's in the diary it' will provide loads of motivation to keep at it. Get yourself down Nd we'll meet up around gisburn or rivington for some practice before August.

Bear in mind that to get practice in you would need to do two and a half complete loops of Gisburn and it offers no real gradient or sustained climbing / descending I have a few mates doing it, we have alarms set to get up at midnight and book tickets |
