There should be other offers going out - one at least as I have turned mine down! Not a letdown Gaz as I said some time back that I've decided I won't be doing any event days - just not my scene. I reckon you'll get an offer next couple of days.

Nice one!
Who's going on the Saturday for a practice and sample the bands and beers. I plan on going Saturday morning and laying out my two man tent before practicing some sections.
Two things are putting me off, I struggle to sleep the first night in a strange place, I can imagine I'll be listening out to chat and for somebody breaking into my car all night to be left knackered the next day, the solution to have a skinful to aid the sleep is counter productive. The other is quite often my knees are knackered the day after a ride, it's hit and miss but difficult to judge how much riding I may do in practice and what the effects are. I'm hoping a bit of physio knowledge and other the time to event this might improve.
It would be good to meet some of you guys before the event dates, hopefully if we get the bowderdale ride sorted out.

Im planning at least one practice ride 5th or 19th of July to ride the public sections and check out the conditions/grip levels, then race weekend we are either getting there Friday evening or early Saturday, practice the whole course then get on the beers and have a BBQ
Sunday race then home, was gonna stay the night but im running out of holiday at work and I think the wife would have a moan

The chances of me not doing this or maybe just having to go for there day are more likely. My wife is really struggling with her mobility in pregnancy and baby may even have to come a couple weeks early which would fall around the time of this.

I was but I think if I haven't got the desire to get out for a casual ride there is no poiunt in me racing as I will haven less motivation to push myself
doesn't matter any way, cant substitute riders for the ard rock, just checked
