For those who are going do yourself a favour ..just for a giggle & a bit of fun ..try the Sduro Haibike .. See if it changes your mind or at least puts a smile on your face ..it's an electric bike ..go on I dare you !
We all love them up here ..so much so that we are going to have an e-bike group ride ...this includes the fittest rider I know ..Russell ..who is a massive fan of these bikes ...

I don't think I could put myself through the trauma of riding the marked trails at cannock on an even busier weekend than normal to be honest. I always prefer the look of the demo days at Springslade when no fecker is about myself.

Good shout - I missed the last one through work - now that I'd go to (still wouldn't pay unless I was buying a bike though )

Will do mate Remember last year Gaz? 2 of those things came whizzing by us at about 40mph...then, a few minutes later, on a steep, sharp gravelly incline that was part of the Demo course diversion...one of them with a fairly 'large' and sweating lad riding it (well, trying to push it, by now) ...had got a flat battery at the bottom of the hill. We didn't take the piss - much - did we? neither one of us was giggling as we spun past and neither one of us definitely did not say 'I've got a couple of Duracell triple AAA's in the Camelbak, if that's any good mate?' TBF mate, that was a really good day that was - and you were fair flying on the Whyte you were demo'ing...you should have bought one...

They look a fantastic bike (Whyte range). If I ever was in the market for a full suss again, they'd be right up there near the top of my list.

Which whyte was it? I wouldn't mind testing the 130rs carbon works but expect it to be a lighter version of the scout with a little less travel up front. Also I have promised myself not to buy a new bike until they others worn into the ground.

Same here. If I'm still riding when the Chief drops to pieces (if it ever does, pretty good build quality on the Rose bikes) then I'll look seriously at testing bikes - the Aeris and the Whyte T130 ranges are the first I'd want to look at. The top Aeris and the T130RS especially, the 130mm Whyte is as much as I need with what I ride, tbh. Whyte T130RS

Think the 160 is just over biked for me - nice to think it's there (extra travel) for Welsh trips etc but the 130 is what catches my eye the most.

Done about 800 miles on my 2015 T130 and love it (I have increased the fork travel to 140mm), but would like to try this years carbon T130 works for comparison though. Hopefully my LBS will have another demo day at Gisburn soon.

Hadn't seen the 150 - I know and like 150mm travel tbf, also I suppose that an extra 10mm is neither here or there (fnaar fnaar)

Roundie looks like the 150 has been dropped for the 160 for 2016 - shame that. I think 150 is the perfect do it all size tbh - though I'm sure 160 riders will say bit's virtually the same thing?

I've been overbiked for years on my Nomad ..with 160 mm front & back ..plush but heavy man .. Unless you are riding major mountains every week ..140 mm as on the SC 5010 up front should be more than enough for trail riding ..still the best bike I've slung a leg over ..

The five is running150on the front mate;) but when it came back from tf tuning they are 160 ., I kept thinking my forks were going stiff but nope it was my rebound set to hard so was a very slow return !!

0% finance offers.. pretty much makes everyone over-biked these days... Is that a bad thing ? As I still love my five 29er and can do a lot more than I can ever ride

I think 0% finance deals are terrible... as for one, they kill the second hand market, for two they encourage talent lacking riders to buy the best bike money can buy, then injure themselves.. all the gear no idea..
